Vidya Rao

Vidya is Genpact’s Chief Information Officer.

In this role, she leads the Global IT organization, Enterprise Data Office, and spearheads Genpact’s internal digital transformation to support growth. She is responsible to pivot Genpact to a modern digital enterprise for which she is driving the global ERP program and is collaborating with the ecosystem partners to drive transformation at scale. Vidya fosters innovation and under her leadership, her team is playing a key role in embracing advancements in Data, technology and AI that enable employees across the globe to partner with clients and make a meaningful difference to their businesses and communities.

She is a mentoring coach for budding women leaders and is recognized as one of the Top 30 Technology executives by Technology Magazine and Top 10 women by Mobile App Daily globally for her outstanding contributions to innovation and leadership. She is also a frequent speaker in various industry forums.

Vidya has over 30+ years of experience, and prior to Genpact, she has worked with Infosys, Wipro, Cambridge Technology, and Accenture, performing diverse roles and leading technology delivery for leading multinational clients.

Previously Vidya has served on the board of Microfocus PLC until its acquisition by Opentext.

Vidya has a degree in science, majoring in Statistics from the Mumbai University, India.
